Anna turned her head just enough to glare at him. Only because she was annoyed at the fact that he was right. He was the captain of this ship and deserved more of an answer than she was giving him. She was trying to be as vague as she could be but apparently that was unacceptable. ❝I’ve been looking for someone for YEARS and I got word that he’s been spotted. If I don’t respond no there could be a chance that I’ll lose him again. I’m not about to let that happen.❞ Her own arms mimicked his in crossing them over her chest. ❝That good enough for you?❞
For once, Cade listened intently, to see if this journey they would undertake would be WORTH the trouble. Skywalker wasn’t a valiant knight by any means, so he needed a logical reason for assisting her. And by logical, he meant beneficial for him and him ALONE.
