Better late than never!  And thank you! Todd Lascance (that’s his name for those of you who do not know, he’s in The Flash at the moment) was not my original choice as it was Paul Walker.  However, that FC didn’t quite feel right to me so I searched forums and found a fancast of…Todd Lasance as Cade Skywalker.

Unfortunately, Todd Lasance only looked like this for one role, which was Julius Caesar (go with it) in Spartacus so there’s not a lot to icon from.

Of all the Star Wars: EU comics or graphic novels that I’ve read, Cade Skywalker from Star Wars: Legacy was always a character that stood out to me because I interpreted him as an amalgamation of some of Star Wars most notable characters, Anakin Skywalker, Han Solo and Boba Fett.  Obviously, he’s an adroit practitioner of the Force, being able to  draw from both Light and Dark sides of the Force, has a vicious temper, but his lifestyle was very different from the usual force-user because Cade at the start of Star Wars: Legacy was death-stick-addled bounty hunter who was captain of his own ship with his own crew of scumbags.   I thought he was an interesting concoction in character alchemy,  not necessarily a great character, certainly not a sympathetic character, but one whom I thought breathed fresh air into Star Wars universe and a type the universe could use more of, especially film-wise,

From an RP perspective, I always had the itch to join the Star Wars RP community because I’ve always loved Star Wars and I had experience roleplaying in a separate fandom, the DC fandom.  I don’t have any problems with the latter, but it can be very soothing to RP in two completely separate fandoms.   Due to the fact that I had extensive knowledge of the character as well as the comforting realization that no one else in the Sar Wars RP community had adopted Cade as a muse (which really helps any insecurity as to portrayal because there are no other accounts to compare to), I thought it was the logical choice.  Also. considering my main muse is Dick Grayson, a charming superhero, it was nice to write a character who was…not that.
